Shakshouka Recipe

  • 1 Red Onion (Diced)

  • 2 Cloves of Garlic (Diced)

  • 2 Peppers Sliced into Julienne

  • 2 tsp of Harissa

  • 2 tsp of Tomato Paste

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1 tp f Tumeric

  • 1tsp of Cumin Seeds

  • 1 Can of Chopped Tomatoes

  • 6 Eggs

  • Coriander for Garnish

  • Bread to Serve



  1. Prep your Veg and sweat off in a pan over a high heat with a shot of Oil.

  2. Add in your Seasonings and your can of Tomatoes. Bring up to a boil.

  3. Turn down your heat and make wells in the Sauce. Crack and Drop your eggs in. Leave to Simmer for 3-5 Minutes).

  4. Serve with Chopped Coriander and Bread.
